Hotteok is a part of the Korean street food. Today I tried it for the first time. I guess there’s different variations of them, because looking them up on Wikipedia they looked different than the one I had today. I guess mine was a crispy version?

As you can see on the picture below, the shape is quite funny. It was quite big to hold only with one hand, and then it was completely empty inside. But with honey on the sides, which was super delicious!

When my friend asked me if I wanted a hotteok, I thought he said “hot dog” at first, haha. And that is my introduction to hotteok!
