Haven’t been taking that many pictures lately, sorry for that (I will be better!).
Anyway. It’s been some very eventful days and I feel like I’m gonna crack if I don’t write it down here!
- Last Saturday I was supposed to meet a friend at the afternoon, and another one at later night. Unfortunately I was late to my first friend because it took longer than I expected (still learning how long things take here in Seoul), so I tried to hurry and ran. I ran in the subway, and I missed one step so I hurt my left foot… It was mostly just embarassing but not many people saw it I think. At first it didn’t feel like I hurt my foot that much but later, I could really feel the pain. So I had to walk a bit weird. This lasted for two days!
- A bit of an advice; if you haven’t been eating properly for various reasons – ESPECIALLY if you’re out and about on this very day SO WHATEVER YOU DO, eat something healthy AND NOT a piece of cookie as yours truly. Unless you really enjoy spending a lot of time at the bathroom.
- I have found a new favourite ice cream which I don’t remember the name of. But it was vanilla flavour and syrup. It was fish shaped.
- It was way harder than I expected to even find my dormitory. Even though it’s in a place that I lived close to last year, I walked around for at least half an hour when trying to get home some days ago. I remembered how the dorm building looked like BUT only from a certain direction. Very useful indeed. The funny thing is that, when walking around completely lost, I saw the building but I just decided that “no that’s not the building”…? I fooled myself, I guess. There’s a subway station closer to the one that I normally use, but I’m still too scared to even go and find it.
- I actually forgot ONE IMPORTANT THING to bring here to Korea – toothpaste. God damnit. Almost the most important thing. Well, it’s not like there isn’t any toothpaste in this country so I don’t need to worry. But for now, I just pray that my roomie hasn’t noticed a lighter toothpaste tube. I even borrowed her spoon without asking her. I WILL GO SHOPPING FOR THESE THINGS LATER OKAY.
- I left a lot of shit at a friend last year I was here. Mostly clothing, but also makeup, my Korean phone, a router and my precious jojoba oil. This friend is however very busy now so I’m gonna have to wait until I can get it. Don’t like waiting though. And it’s pretty stupid of me (I guess?) because I have spoons and other necessities. Oh, I even have a bottle of Minttu there!
