Today when I was on my way out to go shopping, the phone was ringing (every room has a phone in this dormitory). The voice was wondering where I was, because obviously I was supposed to be at an orientation today at 13.00. What? I was really surprised, because I thought I didn’t miss any info. Went out to the “office” and talked to them, they told me that there were TWO orientations?! I thought it was only ONE. And they even sent out emails (they did tell us to check every day HOWEVER I don’t have any wifi here and I still don’t know why)… 🙄

Anyway, things got solved. Turns out I wasn’t the only one who missed this info, so I’ll attend an orientation tomorrow at 2 PM instead. The things that we need to fix is some applications for a Korean bank account (which I already have though), the Alien Registration Card (because I’m an alien now) and some more information about the entire language education. They also wanted us to bring four photos of myself – however – I know that there are photo stations at the immigration office so I didn’t bring any… 😅 I thought I was above the system because I’ve been here before and done it all before, but they really insisted on me bringing those photos… So I had to go to a place where they took my pictures (it only took 10 min and costed 15 000 ₩!) and I must say that I’m really proud over myself for managing all of this all on my own! 😎
