Met my so called Korean guide friend that I was introduced to via my school. All foreign students here got their own, and we call them dowoomi, 도우미.

Description I found on my school site: Dowoomi is Korean for “helper” or “assistant”. Through the Dowoomi program at the International Institute of Education, Korean student volunteers help international students at Kyung Hee study Korean and adjust to culture and life in Korea. The Dowoomi volunteers also benefit by gaining international experience as well as becoming good friends, Korean language teachers, and spokespersons to international students visiting Korea.

I think that only my school provides this? At least, I haven’t heard of this before elsewhere… Honestly, I feel like I might not need one but I was curious!

Anyway, today the weather was very nice and so we went to Apgujeong to go shopping at H&M and Forever21. I don’t understand why we don’t have Forever21 at home, I feel like it’s a better store than H&M.
